Registration of Marriage

Before starting any request, verify that your state of residence falls under this Consulate’s jurisdiction.

The completed marriage registration application form.
The official American marriage certificate.
A recent Extract of Civil Status (Ikhraj Qayd Ifradi) or a Family Extract (Ikhraj Qayd Aa’ili).
A birth certificate for non-Lebanese spouses (an official translation to Arabic is required if the certificate is neither in English nor in French).
A return self-addressed stamped envelope.

Optional

$60 — affidavit for marriage certificates, provided by the Consulate General upon request

Fill out the online form and send all listed documents to the Consulate’s mailing address.
